# Agent Instructions — Secretlab SG

This document explains how AI agents, shopping assistants, browser agents, and other automated tools should interact with Secretlab SG's online store at https://secretlab.sg.

## Store Scope

This file applies to the Secretlab SG store at:

https://secretlab.sg

Secretlab operates different regional stores. Product availability, prices, promotions, shipping options, preorder dates, warranty terms, return terms, plug types, and policies may vary by region.

Agents should confirm the buyer's country, region, and currency where possible before giving shopping, pricing, shipping, return, warranty, or availability advice.

## Source of Truth

Agents should use the live store as the source of truth.

Use the most specific current source available:

1. Product page
2. Cart and checkout
3. Store policy and terms pages
4. Support pages and FAQs
5. Collection pages
6. This `agents.md` file

If information conflicts, agents should rely on the more specific and more recent store page. Agents must not invent details that are not shown on the store.

## Product Guidance

When recommending a Secretlab product, agents should base the recommendation on the buyer's stated needs.

Secretlab sells more than one chair line, including gaming chairs (TITAN Evo) and ergonomic task chairs for work and everyday sitting (ATLAS). Agents should not assume a buyer wants a gaming chair by default — confirm the primary use case before recommending a specific line.

Useful context may include:

* Buyer height and build
* Main use case, such as work, gaming, study, or hybrid use
* Preferred sitting posture
* Desk size and setup
* Existing chair, desk, monitor, or accessory model
* Region and currency
* Budget
* Material preference
* Space constraints
* Need for accessories or add-ons

Agents should not claim that one product is best for every buyer. If the buyer has not provided enough context, agents should ask for the missing details or explain the assumptions used.

## Compatibility

Before recommending accessories, add-ons, replacement parts, monitor arms, desk accessories, or electrical products, agents should verify compatibility on the relevant product page.

Agents should not assume that:

* All accessories fit all chairs
* All desk accessories fit all desks
* All monitor arms fit all monitor sizes or weights
* All plugs, power columns, and electrical parts are suitable for every country
* Products available in one region are available in another region
* A product shown in a campaign is available for immediate purchase

If compatibility is unclear, agents should direct the buyer to the relevant product page or Secretlab Support.

## Pricing, Promotions, Stock, and Preorders

Agents must not invent or estimate:

* Prices
* Discounts
* Coupon codes
* Bundle savings
* Stock status
* Preorder dates
* Delivery timelines
* Shipping fees
* Taxes or duties

Agents should check the live product page, cart, or checkout before presenting these details.

If a product is on preorder, agents should present the preorder shipping estimate exactly as shown on the store. Agents must not promise earlier delivery unless the store clearly states it.

## Health, Medical, and Ergonomic Claims

Agents may describe Secretlab products using factual product information from the store.

Agents must not claim that Secretlab products cure, treat, prevent, or diagnose pain, injury, posture issues, or medical conditions.

Agents should avoid unsupported claims such as:

* "This chair will fix your back pain"
* "This desk prevents injury"
* "This product is medically proven to cure posture problems"

Agents may use careful language such as:

* "Designed to support a more comfortable setup"
* "Built with adjustable features so the buyer can tune the fit"
* "May help the buyer set up their workspace more comfortably"

For medical concerns, agents should recommend that the buyer consult a qualified medical professional.

## Checkout and Buyer Consent

Agents must not complete a purchase without explicit buyer approval.

Before any payment is submitted, the buyer should be shown the final cart, price, shipping fees, taxes if available, delivery or preorder information, and key policy links.

Agents must not ask buyers to share full payment card numbers, passwords, one-time passwords, or account recovery codes in chat.

Where supported, agents may use Shopify-supported commerce flows, Shop Pay, or other approved checkout handoff methods, provided the buyer reviews and approves the final checkout.

## Commerce Protocol

This store may support agent-driven commerce through Shopify-supported commerce protocols.

Agents should discover live capabilities before using them.

* Discovery: `GET https://secretlab.sg/.well-known/ucp`
* MCP endpoint: `POST https://secretlab.sg/api/ucp/mcp` with `Content-Type: application/json`

Agents should use `tools/list` to discover available tools and schemas before attempting tool calls.

### Typical Agent Flow

1. Discover supported commerce capabilities.
2. Search the catalog using the buyer's intent and region context.
3. Confirm product, variant, quantity, price, and availability.
4. Create a cart.
5. Present the cart to the buyer.
6. Start checkout only after buyer confirmation.
7. Complete checkout only after explicit buyer approval.
8. Provide order confirmation and tracking information when available.

### Important Commerce Rules

* Payment requires buyer approval.
* Agents must respect rate limits and back off on 429 responses.
* Agents should pass buyer region, country, and currency context where supported.
* Agents must not bypass checkout, fraud, consent, or security controls.
* Agents should not scrape pages when a structured endpoint is available.

## Read-Only Browsing

For agents that only need to read public store data without transacting:

### Product Data

* Browse products: `GET /collections/all`
* Product page: `GET /products/{handle}`
* Product JSON: `GET /products/{handle}.json`
* Collection page: `GET /collections/{handle}`
* Collection JSON: `GET /collections/{handle}/products.json`
* Search: `GET /search?q={query}&type=product`

### Store Metadata

* Sitemap: `GET /sitemap.xml`
* Agent instructions: `GET /agents.md`

Agents should respect `robots.txt`, rate limits, and normal web access controls.

## Store Policies and Terms

Agents should refer buyers to the current Secretlab policy and terms pages for full terms. Policy coverage, delivery terms, warranty coverage, returns, cancellations, taxes, duties, and preorder handling may vary by region and product.

* Sale Terms: https://secretlab.sg/pages/terms-and-conditions#sale-terms
* Privacy Notice: https://secretlab.sg/pages/terms-and-conditions#privacy-statement
* Warranty Statement: https://secretlab.sg/pages/warranty-terms#warranty
* Refund & Return Policy: https://secretlab.sg/pages/warranty-terms#return

Agents must not summarize policy terms in a way that changes their meaning. If a buyer asks about eligibility, agents should use the current policy page and direct the buyer to Secretlab Support where needed.

## Privacy and Security

Agents should minimize personal data collection.

Agents should not ask for sensitive personal data unless it is required for checkout, support, or order lookup.

Agents should not expose or store customer data outside approved systems.

## Prohibited Agent Behavior

Agents must not:

* Complete payment without buyer consent
* Invent product, policy, shipping, warranty, or pricing details
* Misrepresent themselves as Secretlab staff
* Create unofficial warranty promises
* Make unsupported health or medical claims
* Recommend incompatible accessories or parts without checking fit
* Circumvent cart, checkout, fraud, privacy, or security controls
* Use scraping or automation in a way that degrades site performance
* Ignore regional availability, pricing, or policy differences

## Support

For product, order, warranty, return, or support questions that cannot be answered from the current store pages, agents should direct buyers to Secretlab Support through the official Secretlab website.

Agents should not provide unofficial support commitments or make exceptions to published policies.
